Compositionist

I work with international writers in higher education toward their proficiencies in the art. My teaching, as such, embodies a trivium: I teach composition; I teach literature; and I teach creative writing. Alongside applications of linguistics, rhetoric, and poetics, I strive to reflexively bring to bear the lessons of my own hard-won experience against the touchstone of the canon. My pedagogy is dialogical, informed by the credo that learning to read and write well enriches lives and serves the greater good.
